John James the founder of JCI John James Custom Homes, Inc. Started at the early age of 14 yrs old working in the summers between school years for a Remodeler taking in all the knowledge and processes that he was subjected to.

He learned how to Excavate a footing, Install iron rebar and pour a footing to code, Construct a block foundation, Frame up the structure, Trim the structure, Apply the proper roofing materials, Install windows, Insulate and Install Proper Weatherproofing, Hang & Finish Drywall, Paint Interior & Exterior,Install Interior Trim and Finish, Install Tile, Install Carpeting and Finish Concrete.

This was a valuable time for John. This preempted time that was spent learning the different phases was amassed over a period of years creating the path that John has taken as a career. His Grandfather was also a craftsman and critiqued, shared and expanded the knowledge of his engineering background creating a well rounded aspiration of knowledge for the young man. John proceeded to work summers until he graduated high school continuing the learning process in the construction industry. Upon graduation he then started his own company as a Remodeling and Roofing firm. Both operated and managed by himself. John constructed his first spec at twenty-one years of age.

This was the first home of many to come. He did very well with this home it sold quickly. In the weeks the home sat For Sale he would greet potential clients and tour the home. At this time he was putting himself through college and this gave him the time he needed to study. This worked well the Remodeling and Home Building was becoming much more prominent as his company was growing exponentially. Over the years the quality and experience has created a very knowledgeable man in the building industry. One that could relate and understand his clients needs.

His ideas and visions have helped many "Transform dreams into Reality". The luxury homes that John Builds today reflect the education and hands on training received throughout the years.
